Mr. Hubert Sylvester Rone, age 58, of 1060 Charlie Monk Road, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541, departed this life in his home on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was born in Person County and a 1978 graduate of Person Sr. High School.
He is survived by his parents, Hubert James and Monnie Torain Rone, of the home; one daughter, Clarissa Huffman of Philadelphia, PA; one son, Hubert Allen of Timberlake, NC; five sisters: Christine Rone Torain of Hillsborough, NC, Sally Ezra Frazier (Larry) of OK, Kathy Rone of Rocky Mount, NC, Nanette Rone of Roxboro and Teenie Francis Blackman (Stacey) of Yanceyville, NC; three brothers: James Rone of Roxboro, Cleveland Crutchfield and Clyde Crutchfield, both of Burlington, NC; two grandchildren: Nairobi Dixon and Sarai Allen; and several aunts, uncles, other additional relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11:00am in the funeral home Chapel with Minister Charlie Woods, associate pastor at Hester Grove Baptist Church, officiating and providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Bradsher Family Cemetery, 3233 Union Grove Church Road, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 10:00am to 11:00am.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
