FRANCES DENISE DAVIS, age 63, of 192 Misty Hollow Road, Timberlake, NC passed away Tuesday morning, February 13, 2024 at Person Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Davis was born May 30, 1960 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late Stokley Lee & Ida Frances Brooks Davis and was wife of 15 years to Emmett Marlin Harris who survives.  After her retirement from Blue Cross Blue Shield, she worked for United Healthcare Insurance Company, and was a member of Leasburg United Methodist Church.

Denise enjoyed working in the yard and Matts memory garden, her cats & dogs, going to Bluegrass Festivals, and trips to the beach.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a sister, Janet D. Foley & husband, Bill of New Bern, NC, four children, Tommy Harris & wife, April, Keith Harris, Tabitha Moore all of Roxboro, NC, Courtney Riddle of Mebane, NC, nieces, Katie Foley, Hayley Garet & husband, Connor, six grandchildren, Amber Separk & husband, Brian, T.J. Harris & wife, Sierra, Megan Harris (Kenny), Hope Clark, Dalton O’Briant, Briana Harris, five great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins & friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by a son, Matthew Lee Wicks.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Sexton officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests Wednesday, February 14, 2024 through Friday, February 16, 2024 at the home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
