Anthony Glenn Wilborn, 60, of Roxboro, died Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his home. Born in Person County, he was the son of the late Truman Pershing Wilborn and Katie Luried Whitfield Wilborn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald "Wingding" Dean Wilborn and sister, Joyce Marie Wilborn Wrenn.
Mr. Wilborn was a former employee of Collins & Aikman with twenty years of employment. He worked for Eaton and later transferred to Dill Air Controls Products in Oxford. Anthony loved shooting pool and playing softball.
Surviving are his son, Joshua "Josh" Shane Wilborn (Fran) of Timberlake; brother, Jerry Wayne Wilborn (Denise) of Roxboro; twin sister, Lynn Wilborn Aleman (Marshall) of Roxboro; grandchild, Jayden Shane Wilborn; two nephews: Travis Dean Wilborn and Jeremy Lawrance Wilborn; great-nephew, Gibson Dean Wilborn; brother-in-law, Ricky Wrenn; special friend and caregiver, Bettie Rosenbaum; loving pet dog, Jaxon.
Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 PM Monday, October 5, 2020 at the Brooks & White Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Funeral service 2 PM Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Brooks & White Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Whitfield, Donnie Whitfield, Sammy Lowery, Jeremy Wilborn, Travis Wilborn and Yank Miller.
