Sylvester Lee Clayton November 10, 1959 - July 24, 2019.

Mr. Sylvester Lee Clayton, age 59, of Roxboro, NC, departed this life Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Accordius Health at Rose Manor in Durham, NC. He was a native of Person County and a member of First Baptist Church. He graduated from Person Senior High School. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lorenia Clayton and one brother, Earl T. Clayton. He is survived by one daughter, Qiana Bradsher of Durham, NC; four sisters: Thelma Clayton and Rosaline Lee (Samuel), both of Roxboro, Rebecca Atkinson (Clarence) of Chase City, VA and Patricia Faulkner (Carl), also of Roxboro; one brother, Dewey Clayton (Barbara) of Greensboro, NC; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other additional relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church, 14 Main Circle, Roxboro, NC with the Rev. Kenneth Stokes, pastor, officiating and providing the eulogy. Visitation will also be Saturday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm when his body will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to the service. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Patricia Faulkner, 676 Faulkner Long Rd., Roxboro, NC 27574.
