Stephen was a wonderful brother and I still miss him very much. Time certainly has a way of helping us heal and I know that he is in a better place. It is my hope that all the names that are no longer with us will never be forgotten and that we treasure every moment with our loved ones and friends.

I do often wonder what he would be like today and if he would be married or have any children. My son, Stephen reminds me very much of him and is very charming just as he used to be. Needless to say, sometimes it is hard to disipline my little Stephen because he reminds me so much of his uncle.

I would love to hear of any fond memories that anyone might have of Stephen so that I could share them with my children. It would help them to know him better. Thanks,Stephanie

I remember Stephen not so much from high school but the Rink-A-Dink and he always had to get a hugg from all the girls and I'll always remember his big smile.

What I remember most about Stephen is after school. Stephen was on the wrestling team and Stephanie and I were on the Cheerleading Squad together. We would have practice at the same time, so I would jog around the inside hallways of PSHS with Stephen and we would talk. He had the sweetest smile and a great personality! I still remember hearing of his accident the night it happened. We had a basketball game that evening and everyone was in shock. I still remember the funeral as well. So many people attended, which goes to show you that everyone loved Stephen. He would have been a great man!!!

What I remember most about Stephen was his laugh.

Stephanie- you mentioned in your post that you wondered what Stephen would be like today....well I can assure you that your two kids would be much loved by one heck of an uncle.

Stephanie, I remember Stephen as being a very happy and fun loving person. He ALWAYS had a huge smile on his face and loved to give hugs. I think of him on occasion and I'm sure he would be full of life. He would have made a great and fun dad and uncle.

I first got to know Stephen in 8th grade at Southern Jr. High. I remember also his crazy grin and slightly crooked glasses. He had no enemies in this world. He was well liked by all and very popular. I remember most about him is how he would always say real sly to me, "Wanna buy some Now or Laters?" He always had a bag full of them for 25 cents or so a pack. Another slick line he would throw on me was "Ain't I cool?!" I also think he had nice pair of Air Jordans I always lusted after.
I will never forget the news of his passing my Senior year and how it has affected me to this day. It was my first time dealing with the loss of someone my own age. I remember waiting in line for 2 hours at Brooks and White for visitation. The line circled out into the parking lot. That in itself proves how well loved he was and how tremendous his personality was. He was so full of life and extremely positive at all times and we are all fortunate to have known him.
I can remember afterwards being shown a picture of him on a softball team at Helena with all his elementary school friends after winning the championship game. Steve was holding up his finger in the #1 position with a big smile on his face......You will always be #1 with me Steve.
