Wayne Bell Parker

Wayne Bell Parker, 50, returned to his Heavenly Father Friday, August 5, 2005, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born November 12, 1954 in Ogden, Utah to Willard Stuart and Shirley Bell Parker. On August 6, 1976 Wayne married Denise Malmberg in the Salt Lake Temple. He had lived in Roy for most of his life except for nine years in West Point.

Wayne graduated from Roy High School in 1973. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served on the High Council, in the Bishopric, and Branch President of the Weber Valley Detention Center.

Wayne owned and operated Parker Electric for 25 years. He loved his horses, camping in the mountains and spending time with his family. His children and grandchildren were his life, everything he did, he did for them.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Denise; three sons, Jason (Jennifer), Roy; Trever (Stacy), Roy; Lance, who leaves for the Michigan Lansing Mission on September 7, 2005, the same mission his Dad served; two daughters, Stacie, Roy; and Kimberly (Roylin) Bradley, Roy; two grandchildren, Brylee and Arianna; his parents, Willard and Shirley, Vernal, UT; four brothers, W. Dennis (Susan), Roy; Joe, Boulder, UT; Drew (Laurie), Wellsville; Sid (Susan), West Point; and a sister, Marie (Ronald) Whale, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sherrie and his father-in-law, Verl D. Malmberg.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 9th at 11 a.m. at the Roy West Stake Center, 5080 South 3100 West. The family will meet friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, and on Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 at the Stake Center.
