I remember when Bruce came to Shrine. We became good friends. We had a lot of fun with our extracurricular adventures. I was honored to be best man at Bruce's wedding to Janet Falcon. Bruce almost died in a horrific motorcycle accident years ago. He was on life support. He came out of it to a degree and did all right. I remember when there was a big party in downtown Royal Oak when Joe Hill turned 40. Bruce was at the party and he did really well. Bruce spent some time in Michigan and Florida. I think he eventually resided in Florida full-time.
Many of you knew Joe Hill. Joe was our classmate when we were freshmen for part of the year and then transferred to Detroit Cathedral. Joe attended several Shrine events. We had a few "class trips" to Caseville. I have several pictures which include some of you. I received the pictures from Joe's family after he passed away.
Joe and I were lifetime friends we met when we were 10 years old. He was best man at my wedding. We kept in touch over the years and did part of the Michigander Bike Tour a couple of years before he passed away.
