Donald Harry Borchardt passed away January 19, 2011 in Meridian, Idaho. He was born August 19, 1934.

Don was one of three sons born to Mildred and Harry Borchardt, (Don, Jim, and Bob).

Don attended school in Rupert where he graduated from Rupert High School in 1954. Don had a number of different jobs in his youth but settled in with Triangle Youngs Dairy where he worked for over 25 years. After a heart attack and multiple back surgeries, he retired in the fall of 1983.

Don married Linda Tyson, April 25, 1955 in Rupert where they made their home until 1998 when they built a house in Meridian. Don and Linda had four children: Donald, Sheri, Mike, and Stephen, who preceded him in death. Linda passed away in November of 2007. Also, 8 grandchildren survive him.

Much can be said about Don but the description that fits him best is simply, Don was a kind man, the type of kindness that evades most of us for a life time. If you him you knew kindness. Don~ Dad~Grandpa loved and was loved deeply by all of us. He was my best friend (Mike).

Family and friends spent time together at Idaho Pizza Company in Meridian on Sunday, January 23rd at 3:00 pm. Cremation services were provided by Accent Funeral Home, Meridian. Condolences may be left for the family at www.accentfuneral.com.
