Lewis Gilbert Doane, 77, of Twin Falls, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at a Boise hospital of natural causes.

He was born May 21, 1935, in Rupert, Idaho, to Lewis Alfred and Viola Doane.  He served in the Navy in the Korean War for 6 years.  He had a master's degree in printing and was a truck driver for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Irene Doane; one son, and two daughters.  He is survived by one son, three daughters, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, all of the Magic Valley area.

A memorial lunch will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Salvation Army Church, 348 Fourth Ave. W. in Twin Falls.

Cremation is under the direction of the Cremation Society of Idaho in Boise.
