Donnetta Engkraf (Reynolds)

Donnetta Ann "Donnie" Reynolds, 64, passed away Jan. 3, 2001, at her home in Boise.

Vigil/Rosary was held Jan. 5, 7 p.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel. Funeral Mass was sat., Jan 6 at 10 a.m. at Sacred y\Heart Catholic Church on the corner of Latah and Callia. Burial was in Rupert, Idaho.

Donnetta was born Oct. 24, 1936, in Rupert, Idaho.  She was raised in Rupert by Joe and Regina Engkraf with her sister Glenna.  In high school Donnie enjoyed music and drama. Aug. 26, 1954, she married Carl, the love of her life and the father of her seven children.  Carl and Donnie had their first child in Rupert and their second in Richland, Wash., while Carl was in the service.  They returned to Rupert after the service where they had five more children.  Rupert was their home until 1966 when they moved to Boise.  Donnetta was very active with her children in school and all their various activities.  She canned fresh food from the garden and sewed suits and dresses for the kids.  After the kids were grown she began her crafts of all kinds and her home is filled with her handiwork.

Donnetta's family and faith were the center of her life.  In spite of the many challenges created by her M.S. and her heart she always had a smile and a positive outlook.  She dedicated her lllife to Jesus, His Blessed Mother, and all of the heavens angels and saints.  Donnie believed angels are among us all and was never reluctant to ask the angels to watch over whomever needed them most.

Donnetta is survived by her husband Carl of over 46 years, her sister Glenna Engkraf of Las Vegas, Nev. and her uncle (and godfather) Joe Feser and Betty, of Portland.
