Kevin E. Osborne, 20, of Flatwoods died Thursday, August 18, 1983, at Cabell Huntington Hospital from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was born January 19, 1963, and a 1981 graduate of Russell High School. He was a great friend to many of our class and is sorely missed.
Kevin was one of my best friends from kindergarten on. I think of him often and feel blessed that he was a part of my life for the short time he was on this earth. I have faith that he's watching over all of us from heaven.
I was in Myrtle Beach with Sandy Caudill (who grew up across the street from Kevin), Sherry Kelly and Lisa Church. I will never forget my mom telling me about the accident one morning when I called home.
I have found myself, more than once, standing at his gravesite.
