SAVE THE DATES:  The 55th reunion is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 27-Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019, with an early bird gathering on Thursday, Sept. 26, for those coming in early. All the 60's classes are invited.  The mini-reunion was a success because and it was great to visit with so many from the other classes.

A NEW COURTYARD MARRIOTT HAS RECENTLY OPENED IN RUSSELLVILLE AND THEY HAVE A VERY NICE RECEPTION AREA WITH BAR, FOOD, STARBUCKS, BOOTHS, TABLES, ETC. THERE IS A VERANDA WITH FIRE PITS AND NICE FURNISHINGS PERFECT FOR VISITING--MAKING IT A CONVENIENT LOCATION FOR CONNECTING WITH CLASSMATES AS THEY ARRIVE.

ROOMS ARE GOING TO BE LIMITED AT EVERY MOTEL IN TOWN SINCE THE NUCLEAR PLANT OUTAGE WILL BE GOING ON,  BUT THEY WILL HAVE SOME ROOMS AVAILABLE IF BOOKED EARLY.  THEY WILL GIVE US A  10% DISCOUNT.  I AM NOT GOING TO RESERVE A BLOCK OF ROOMS, BUT LET EACH OF YOU MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS WHERE YOU CHOOSE. THE RESTAURANT SERVES BREAKFAST ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. 

Thursday, Sept. 26--Early Bird Arrival:

Those arriving early can check in at the Courtyard or arrange to meet at the Old Bank downtown for a Dutch Treat Get Together around 5:30.  

Friday, Sept. 27

Informal gathering time:  no scheduled breakfast and lunch locations other than the Marriott or Old South depending on number attending.

1:00:  Barbara Horton has discussed scheduling an optional activity: Tour of new facilities at RHS (Performing Arts Center, Cyclone Arena, Sports Complex, etc.)

5:30 p.m.: Dutch Treat dinner at the Old Bank.

Saturday, Sept. 28

Informal visiting time:  no scheduled breakfast and lunch locations other than the Marriott or Old South depending on number attending.

6:00 The ballroom is reserved at the Russellville Country Club.  Dinner:  Dutch treat with each person ordering from the menu with a cash bar available. 

8-11:  A fantastic band has been confirmed. The B Flats from Little Rock played at a recent event at the Country Club and were a huge hit playing 60-s and 70's music.  This evening should be a highlight of the reunion with all the classes from the 60's invited. 

SUNDAY:  No plans have been formalized--breakfast available at Marriott, but Old South is closed on Sundays
