After high school, I went to ATU for one year, majoring in not studying (I was very good at it). Worked in Russellville for a year after that and decided that living in Hawaii would be a better option...and it was. January and 80 degree weather agree with me.
I've worked in the music business pretty much since I arrived in Hawaii--either in music retail or with record companies. The business is going the way of the dinosaurs very quickly but it's been a blast, getting all the music I could ever want, working with artists I've idolized for years and loving what I do every day.
I married my lovely wife Lauree on January 1, 2000 and she's yet to throw me out. Our daughter Meghan is 4 going on 20 and reminds me of myself in more ways that I'll ever admit. And it makes me realize that I am more like my parents than I ever thought possible. When I have some free time, I love to read and watch sports (living and dying....usually dying... with the Seattle Mariners). We try and fly to the continent every couple of years and catch some games. Going to the beach is the perfect stress relief and we try to go up to the North Shore of Oahu as often as possible.
