Doug Mackey VIEW PROFILE

William Douglas Mackey, 23, of Russellville, died Wednesday, May 29, at the University of Arkansas Medical Center at Little Rock.

He was born August 25, 1972, at Russellville. He was a self-employed car salesman and a member of Woodlawn Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Odell Campbell, and paternal grandfather, Blynn Mackey.

Survivors include his parents, Ricky and Verna Mackey of Russellville; a daughter, Tayler Nichole of Russellville; maternal grandmother, Goldie Mae Campbell of Casa; paternal grandmother, Tommie Mackey of Russellville; and paternal great-grandmother, Edythe Mackey of Russellville.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Humphrey Chapel by the Rev. Frank Matchett and the Rev. David McLemore. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Humphrey Funeral Service.

Active Pallbearers -  Jason Dillard, Garry Garrison, Glen Garrison, Eric Jamell, John Paul Hernes and Bob Bane.

Honorary Pallbearers - University of Arkansas Medical Center personnel and members of the 217th Maintenance Battalion of the Arkansas Army National Guard. 

The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Gideons.
