The next thing we need to nail down is a location.

People seem to like the idea of a place in Bowling Green where out-of-towners can also spend the night.

Here are a few options, please suggest more!
- Hilton Garden Inn (no room fee, but $2500 food + drink minimum) Flexible menu.
- Holiday Inn University Plaza ($200 for the room, and food ranges from $26 for single plates to $40 for buffet or heavy Hors D’oeuvres...)
- Talked to Ramada, but it seems like they don't have any room away from the loud music starting at 8:30
- Mariah's ($2 per person for room, plus menu prices or $20 buffet... but room may not be as good for our purposes.)

I have more details that would not fit here. Feel free to contact me at casey.mullen@bentley.com

I'd like to have a meeting/conference call soon (Sunday afternoon?) to try to make a decision. Check here or email me for more information.

University Plaza and Hilton Garden Inn are probably the best options. Both facilities are relatively new and are in a good location just off Scottsville Road (close to the BG Airport). Based upon the numbers, suggest that we go with the Hilton Garden Inn...

I think either the Hilton Garden Inn or the Plaza would be a great place to have the reunion.

Hey guys. I kind of like the idea of Mariah's... I KNOW the food is good there, and it's a quaint type of setting. They can rent out 2 rooms combined for a total of 80 people comfortably. It is $2.00 per person + buffet charge. That way we could just post some info on area hotels for people to call and get their own accomodations.

Do we want/need a DJ? Think Barry Appling is still in the business. Might be fun to have him do the honors? Could limit our ability to talk (i.e. loud music) but thought I'd throw the idea out there. What do folks think?

Why not have a little music! Let's just have a great time catching up! Any place works for me!

What about Friday night? I think we should plan something informal for that night as well. Possibly something where people could bring their kids.

Just a thought!

Rodney, I think that is an excellent idea. I was hoping there would be a game, but Paul Whitley tells me that there is not... is there some Heritage Festival-related event at which we might gather?

Casey- I don't know how to post a link- but....

http://www.logancountyky.com/cm/publish/article_89.shtml

gives a schedule for the "Tobacco and Heritage Festival" from the Logan County Chamber of Commerce site.

Looks like there is quite a bit scheduled for Friday night on the square, with a special gathering for all RHS Alumni at 6:00.

Hope this helps.

How about also designating a time and place to meet for those who want to watch the Parade? Of course it will be crowded everywhere, so it will be next to impossible to have a place "reserved."

I know that my kids will want to watch the parade and it would be good to talk with others also.

My sister-in-law is the director of Parks and Recreation and said that the day of the parade (11th) they were having a huge pep rally at 1:00 p.m. celebrating the 100th year. They already have the class of '58,'68,'78, and they want as many of the class of '88 to be there. Just wanted to let everyone know. Thanks.

Hello everyone,

I hope to see Ms. Stephanie Buckner. The last time that I saw her, I met her family. They are the most beautiful children I ever lay eyes on. And they loved their Mother, Stephanie. They love her like a Queen.

Life has been beautiful.
Stephanie is certainly one of our Most Blessed!

With Love,
