ALLEN, Lyle
Lyle Allen, a generous man with a big heart, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, the result of a traffic accident on I-5. Born on September 2, 1957 in Oakland, CA, he resided in Sacramento for 30 years. He had a passion for racecars and built a 1967 Chevy Nova to participate in the NHRA. In 2007, Lyle found another passion in riding his beautiful motorcycle. Lyle had a great love for worship and was a percussionist on his church worship team. Lyle is survived by his daughter, Amirah Allen; his long time loved one, Rose Tynes (Allen); his mother, Betty Smedley; and his brother, Ronald Allen, Jr., and a host of family and friends. His father, Ronald Allen, Sr., preceded him in death. Lyle touched the hearts of many people with his love, generosity, but most of all his laughter and big smile. He will be greatly missed and remembered for all he has done. Memorial Services will be held at Harvest Church on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., 10385 East Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, CA 95624.
