REESE, Sherman Fred: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice

Beloved son of Fred and Jeannette Reese, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007, at the age of 50. Sherman was born in Sacramento, CA on October 15, 1957. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento in June of 1975. He worked for a building contractor in the area for several years, specializing in stone work and tile. He moved to Fort Bragg in the late 70's where he worked for Quail Rock Manufacturers as an operation's manager dealing with plastics which later led to his job with Trax Manufacturers in Loomis, CA making plastic cleanrooms for hospitals, medical labs and computer facilities. He also worked with ceramic tile and became very proficient in this line of work laying floors and remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, etc., in the Sacramento Valley area and on the coast. Sherman's favorite pastime was fishing and at one time he worked in the commercial fishing industry. Sherman is survived by his parents; his wife Sharon; son Andrew; daughter Seka; sisters Sharon Lee and Lorrie Anderson; and recent first grandchild, Moriah. He was loved by many. He was a very friendly and helpful person and will be missed by all who knew him.

 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. this Saturday, January 12, at Trinity Lutheran Church on the corner of Redwood Avenue and North Corry Street in Fort Bragg.
