Tomi Mahr (Kier)

Tomi Mahr (Kier)

Tomi Mahr Kier was as feisty and fiery as she was warm and loving. Her creative talent was unending. She brought light to everything she touched and had one of the funniest senses of humor around.

Tomi passed away in her sleep peacefully on Monday September 20, 2004. Born on November 25, 1958, Tomi is survived by her husband Rob Kier, and their 12 year old son, Will, who was the light of her life. Tomi leaves behind her dear friend Landy Tang, her loving mother, Sharon; she was preceded in death by her father Robin D. Mahr. Tomi is also survived by her two younger siblings, Robin (Bob) D. Mahr III, his wife Nancy and their daughter Jane of Boise, Idaho; and Steve, his wife Angie and their two children, Alex and Elizabeth. Tomi's extended family includes her in-laws, Bill and Helen Kier and their children, an aunt, many cousins, and treasured friends.

In 1976 Tomi graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento. She enjoyed a successful career in public relations prior to becoming a Mom, at which time she created an interior design business that allowed her to be a stay-at-home Mom with Will.

I had never heard that we lost Tomi so long ago, Iam very sad to hear she was a lovely girl, vivacious and fun!

I was hoping to see her, again, I thought of her just last week.
