Obituary
A native of Sacramento, Elizabeth Cross was born to Dunice Hammond and J.C. Brazier in 1958. She graduated high school from J.F. Kennedy in 1976. In high school Liz was known for her smile, Afro, and dance moves.
Liz was the second child of six. Her siblings include Monica, Vicky, Eric, Tony, and Kathy. From her siblings she had a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Liz had three children and five bonus children. Her three children Deneva, Adonis, and Alexander will most remember their mom for her positivity and love of music. LeMayo I LaTisha, Tajuana, Tybu, and Tasia will miss her openness and talks.
Mark Burch was Liz's partner for more then 20 years. Together they had seven grandchildren. Ra Shan, Wynter, Lyric, Tariq, Lanae, Tiana, and Taj. Liz repeatedly discussed how much she loved her grand kids and loved spoiling them with lots of snacks!
At Franchise Tax Board Liz touched many lives. She will be know to her team as a listener and a great shoulder to lie on. She was a hard worker that made a strong impact on every life she touched.

Rhonda Carter (Moore)
Liz was my best friend. I met her at John Still 8th grade. She had the biggest heart. She loved all babies. Since she has left this world two years ago I still have a hard time believing she is gone. Rest Dear Friend.Frederica Miller
Liz was a good friend. She and Rhonda Carter gave me my baby shower when I was pregnant with my son. We lost touch but she always has a special place in my heart.
Carolyn Sutherland (Fabish)
I didn't connect Liz with my long time friend and coworker Mark Burch. Mark was devistated over Lizs death. She died in her sleep. I was so deeply sad for my friend not knowing my other friend was the one that passed. What a blow. Liz was a lovely person. If you know Mark please send him a kind word. My love to you all. I wish you all love, health and happiness .
