I'm just hearing of this and sad.  I knew Kelly way back and although we didn't hang out years after and so forth I will still cherish the crazy cool times we had when we did...a bunch of us!!!  Kelly loved working on building cars (Toronado with two engines in it)...he took a clean 1962 Grand Prix and put a 396 four bolt main in it with a turbo 400 transimission with 389 gears...I had the pleasure of owning this car...third one actually after Danny Stump...great car...great memories...rest in peace Kelly!
