How to upload pics to my Profile page:
Click on the Edit/Upload Photos under Member Functions from the Index on the left. Browse your computer for the photo and click Upload.
How to Modify my Contact information:
Click on Edit Contact Info under Member Functions from the Index on the left. Please fill in your email address and street address.
How to Hide my Contact Information:
On your Edit Profile page, way down at the bottom, you are asked 3 questions to check or uncheck.
To block your address and info from the General Public, check the first box.
Hide your contact info from Classmates, Don't check the second box
Allow Classmates to make commets on your Profile page, check the 3rd box. Allows your friends to leave birthday greetings when you allow comments.
What if I don't like their comments?
You can delete them from your Profile page, click on Delete
What if I forget my password?
Just send the Admin of this site a message from the Classmate Profiles page or send an email to ckmcclatchy69@gmail.com and request to have your password reset.
How do I find out someone's Birthday?
If the classmate allows this when they fill out their profile page their name and birth date will appear on the Home Page under Upcoming Birthdays. If they choose not to share this info, then we don't know. But who wouldn't share their birthdate so they can receive Greetings?
How do I post a Birthday or just to Say Hi message to someone's Profile?
For Birthdays, Go to our web Home Page and scroll down til you see the Upcoming Birthday's list. Click on the persons name who is having the birthday. This will take you to their Profile page. You must be a registered user to post on this web site. (It's FREE to sign in and use our site) Scroll down the profile page to the bottom. If this is the First posting you will see a long button that says "Be the first to make a comment on this Profile Page" Click on the button. If you are not the first you will see a Post Response button. Just click on the Post Response and you will see a dialog window to type your message. You can also send that person a personal email from that page, no one will see it except the recipient.
If you want to put a birthday
Youtube like I do. First, open a second Browser window and go to
YouTube.com, do a search for Happy Birthday to find a video you want to post, (make sure you watch it all the way thru so it doesn't say
happy birthday Hugo at the end).. Copy the
URL (not the Embed) from the Right side of the video.
Come back to the profile page, click on Post Response, type in your happy birthday greeting , hit the return a couple of times to give some space, click on the Add YouTube button below the text box and paste your YouTube URL in the second window that appears. Click on OK, and then click on Submit. Check out your handy work on the profile page. If it doesn't turn out like you like it, hit Delete and start over.. Have Fun!
