Life is short, in that time, we should always tell our loved one's and friends that we love them. As tomorrow never get's here, and yesterday is gone. My sincere condolensces to all of the Parino family.

John and I played baseball together, while attending C.K.

I am so sad to hear of John's death. It was so good to see him at the reunion after all these years. What a nice, nice man! I can't believe he was taken so suddenly. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. I worked for his uncle in the 70's and came to know many of his family, including his mom, who was also a wonderful person. What a loss, he will definitely be missed!!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of John...I remember the days in high school of him being such a nice guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. It was good that he and all of us could renew the friendships and aquaintances of 40 years past. I believe it was a truly a night to remember for all of us who attended. I hope it was a night of happiness and great new memories to cherish in the days afterwards for him.

Sincerely,

Jackie Herring

Boy this is tough one.

I have know John since he and I were babies. Our fathers were friends when they we just kids. Our families go back 90+ years at least. John and I played sports together. I bet his dad threw 10,000 baseballs in batting practice to me. From Jr High thorough high school we were always involved in each others life. I probably ate more meals at his house than at my own. His mom was my mom, since I didnt have one.

I am so thankful John and I along with Bob Tatosian and Keith Pasquini spent a few hours together the morning of the reunion having breakfast. Laughing, bragging about how cool and great at sports we were in high school. I live along way away from Sacramento and have for 40 years but I was struck as we were all there laughing, shooting the bull how easily we just picked everything up again like no time had past. He was so proud of his kids and all they had accomplished and were doing in their lives. He even talked about how lucky he was to have met Ginger and what a great partner and mom she has been. Just what I would expect coming from the guy who most reminded me of TV character "Father Knows Best".

We have lost a great guy and someone who lived life with passion, dignity and had alot fun and far too many challenges along the way. If you graded life... John truely was a 4.0 guy and A++ guy.Gone too soon but we are all better off that he was in our lives. Frank Paiva
