Elizabeth Cooke Walker

I have been living in Texas since 1996. After graduating from MSU, I moved to Texas to be an elementary school teacher in the Houston public schools. I have taught 3rd grade, music, and currently I teach Pre-K half days (which I love). My husband, Dickson, works in the oil field as an engineering manager for Schlumberger. We are the proud parents of two kids. Our son, Hudson, will start kindergarten this fall. Brooke, our daughter, is our precious new addition to the family. She was born this past September.

I am looking forward to our 20 year (gulp) reunion and seeing old friends and classmates. We are going to try to make it. Should be a lot of fun!

Remember those greasy, carb-filled, cholesterol-drenched, high sodium cheese pretzels? Darn those were good. Do they still make those unhealthy, artery-clogging yummy treats? Surely not.... If they do, I suggest that they be served at the reunion. Just a thought.

Other fond memories I have of high school are participating in pom pon and show choir. Good times! If we break into a pom pon routine when "Funky Town" is played at the reunion PLEASE somebody STOP us.
