Paul Buetow

Graduated from from Concordia College (Milwaukee) and Concordia Senior College (Fort Wayne); M.A. in classical languages and education from the U. of Minnesota.

Taught Latin and religion at Concordia Lutheran High School (Fort Wayne); also served as assistant principal at Concordia; served as principal at Minneapolis Lutheran High, Lutheran High School of South Florida (Fort Lauderdale), Lutheran High School of New Orleans and Lutheran High School South (St. Louis); retired in summer of 2006. Retirement part-time job is security work, primarily at St. Louis Cardinal baseball games and at the St. Louis convention center.

Married for 38 years to Barbara Slack, two children, divorced in 2004; married to Diane Crawford in 2005.

Favorite pastimes are too infrequent visits with grandchildren, golfing and watching sports in person or on televison.

Latin IV (12-or-so students) with "Papa Fritz." I am sorry to see that two members of that class, Libby Clark and Jim Perry, are deceased.
