Neumann, Heidi Lynn Bay City, Michigan Heidi Lynn Neumann, August 27, 1964 February 25, 2017. Heidi entered eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, February 25, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Because she knew she was saved by the resurrection of her Lord Jesus Christ, Heidi did not fear death. Heidi was born on August 27, 1964 to Gerald and Carol Neumann, who survive her. Also left to cherish her memory are her sister and brother, and their families; Amy and Randy Flood, Dr. Andrew and Jeannie Neumann, Joshua and Jeremy Flood, and Amanda, Andrew and Alyssa Neumann. She also leaves behind her godparents Beverly Kackmeister and Walter Engelhardt, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as countless friends, including special friends Cathy Gleason, Julie Lightfoot, Julia McCloskey, Mary Kaye Scoles, Julie Skaer, Kristen Smith and Melanie Stoetzer. She was predeceased by grandparents J Porter and Georgia Royce and Joseph and Dorothy Neumann. Heidi attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary, where she was a member of the Concert Choir, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church her entire life. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Education as well as a Master's Degree in Education with an endorsement in reading from Saginaw Valley State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Heidi was a true life-long learner and teacher, never lecturing but teaching by example, including lessons on cheerfulness, patience, hard work, focusing on the positive, and that everyone deserved to be treated with kindness and respect. She served the Lord daily in her actions towards others, and will be sorely missed by everyone who was blessed to know her, including her coworkers and members at Lake Huron Credit Union, as well as her coworkers at Babies R Us in Saginaw. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schweppe with private interment in Pioneer Cemetery in Roscommon, Michigan at a later date.
