Went to MLC and graduated in 2002. Worked as a sports writer for the New Ulm Journal while at MLC.
Went to the Sem in Mequon and graduated in 2006. Vicared in Asheville, NC (2004-2005). Worked at Otto's in Cedarburg, selling beer and booze while at the Sem.
Assigned to be pastor of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Duncanville, TX (just blocks southwest of the Dallas city limits) in May 2006. Married Kristen Scharf (the New Ulm Scharfs) in July 2006.
Kristen went to MVL and then MLC and was assigned to teach grades 3-4 at Zion in Monroe (my home congregation) with my Dad, who taught grades 5-6. She taught there from 1999-2006.
Katherine and Samuel are already looking forward to the day when she will be a Cardinal. |
