Julian Odell Moore

Julian passed away, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Providence Park Hospital Novi at age 57. He will be interned at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St.

Mr. Julian O. “Ju” Moore was born September 24, 1958 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Jimmy and Ruby Moore. Julian was a resident of Novi, Michigan. He was a 1976 graduate of Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, Michigan. Julian was an employee at General Motors Truck and Bus for thirty-one years and retired in 2007. Julian was a member of Door of Faith Christian Church for eight years, under the leadership of Pastor Earl O. Crump. He was active on the Usher Board and the Bus Ministry. He was a very active person playing Tennis, Horseback Riding, and Cooking were his hobbies. Some of his other hobbies included restoring his Pontiac Trans Am and Traveling. He was a avid lover of music, sports and going to the Casino.

Mr. Moore leaves to cherish his memory: very special friend, Odessa Moore of Pontiac, MI; his daughter, Turkessa Simmons of Pontiac, MI; and his stepchildren, Gloria L. Ingram of Holt, MI and Daphne Y. Ingram of Pontiac, MI; along with his grandchildren, Jordan (Ari) More of Holt, MI, Iene Ingram Holt, MI, Isiah Ingram, Priscilla Ingram of Auburn Hills, MI, Jamiyah, Jahnice and Joshua Ratcliff of Pontiac, MI; his great grandchild, Valentino Moore; his father, Jimmy Moore of Saginaw, MI; his sisters, Ian Marie Moore of Saginaw, MI, Veneer Hall of Lansing, MI, and Janiece Gage of Pontiac, MI; his brothers, Willie Moore of Kalamazoo, MI and Jimmy Moore Jr. of Hammond, LA; his niece, Maya Moore; his nephews, Aaron Moore of Lansing, MI and Willie Moore of Las Vegas, NV; his uncle, Clyde Moore of Apple Valley, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Lewis Burgess, Freddie Daniels (Fishing Buddy), Charles Weatherspoon and Carl Harris.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Moore and his stepson, Michael C. Ingram.
