Diane Karen Fox
November 20, 1958  -  March 19, 2024

Beloved partner, daughter, sister, and aunt passed away after an illness on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at her home in Sun City, Arizona. Age 65 years. The son of the late Lambert Fox and Charlotte (Meier) Fox in Saginaw, Michigan. Diane graduated from Arthur Hill High School, and she earned her registered nurse degree from Delta College (Saginaw, MI), then earned her master’s degree from University of Phoenix. Diane was born & grew up in Saginaw, Michigan. She moved to Phoenix, AZ. In 1988. Diane proudly served in the United States Army Reserves as a Lieutenant. She started her nursing career in the emergency department and earned her certification as certified emergency nurse (CEN). She was a certified professional in healthcare quality earning her initials of CPHQ, after her RN, MBA, CPHQ. She became director of emergency department at Maryvale Hospital and worked there for over 14 years. Diane also earned her certification in risk management (CPRM). Majority of her adult life was spent in Phoenix, Arizona area. Diane did have a career opportunity which took her to Las Vegas, Nevada. She lived in Henderson, NV for 4 years. Another career opportunity brought her back to Phoenix, AZ area. She ended her over 30-year nursing career at United Healthcare as a quality review nurse. Diane was highly intelligent and had great managerial and leadership skills. She had a big heart and was always willing to help others. Diane loved being a nurse and helping others. She was very dedicated to her profession. Her wit and sarcasm will be greatly missed for years to come.

Surviving is her life partner of 36 years, Marcia Klenk (Sun City, Arizona); her siblings Marilyn (Jerry) Erlenbeck, Robert (Gail) Fox, and many nieces, and nephews. Diane is reunited with her parents, Charlotte (Meier) Fox and Lambert Fox. Diane is also reunited with her beloved canine companions Toto, Mardi, and Teddy.

Honoring Diane’s wishes cremation took place. Celebration of life services took place with the Arizona Nurse Guard rendering their services at Best Funeral Services in Peoria, AZ. Services were officiated by Chaplain Frank Macias, Diane’s hospice chaplain. Hospice services were provided by Hospice of the Valley, who did an amazing job of providing her compassion and dignity, during her illness. Arrangements were entrusted by Best Funeral Services, 9380 West Peoria Ave., Peoria, AZ 85345.
