To our friends and classmates who read this, it may seem a little strange (although
from me-probably not) that I would be writing you a letter. I couldn't think of any other way
to pay tribute to you and our friendship. When I think back on Salem and growing up with
you and our friends, it is hard to hold back the tears. Some will probably attribute it to menopause-Ha-Ha- but you and I know it's not. I loved you for your smile, laugh, wit,
loyalty, bubbly personality, and your compassion. We had some great times-too many
to mention and some that can't be-Ha! My only regret was not keeping in touch after
graduation.
You were taken from us way too early, but it comforts me to know that you are in
a greater place. I think I can speak for all our friends when I say we will miss you at the
reunion and at some moment during the night, we will look upwards and raise a glass
I remember the last time I saw Jackie. She had a Texas brawl..it was so cute coming from her. She was so witty!! It doesn't seem right that she is gone.
