Grad Reunion Date Set! Mark it in your calendars!
Hi everybody! After going through the Grad Survey Results the 23rd to 25th of July seem to be the crowd favorite! Mark it down on your calendars! The specific activities haven't been fully confirmed yet, and a price hasn't been set up as it will depend on whats available and if any of you have contacts to help lower the price! More info will certainly follow!
For now, be sure to book off the 22nd-24th of July!

10 Year Grad Reunion
Hi everybody! For the past year or two we have all be asking "When is the reunion? Are we having one? Who's planning it? etc. Well, I figured I would get the ball rolling, but I hope there will be some help along the way!
At this point, I am looking at having our reunion in July. Once I get more feedback through the survey, I can set a final date! With that being said, please encourage all of your friends to sign on and fill out the survey!
As far as what is happening, I am hoping to have a balance of Grad stuff and Family stuff. Many of us have not been home in a while, so I don't want the weekend to be so jam packed that you don't get to see your family much! I definately would like to have some time to highlight the amazing success of our Grads and it may seem cheesy, but a dinner and dance would be great. Maybe some family time at the park or the beach? I also think we need to pay tribute to those we have lost. It just wont be the same without them. Anyways, please give me some direction! I could be way off on what you are hoping for! Either way, it will hopefully be a wonderful time to rekindle an old friendship and make a couple new ones!
Hopefully you are all as excited for this reunion as I am. It's not really worth planning something if there isn't even 50 people planning on coming! Once again, the only way to get people signed up is if word gets around. Please do your best to get all of your old friends interested and signed up!

There have been a few changes to the events. Please read carefully!!!
The cost has remained the same: To attend all events it is $50 per grad.
The meet and greet is tentatively booked at the Podollan Inn for 7pm on Friday, July 23rd. To attend ONLY this event it costs $10 per person.
The memorial brunch will be held at SASS at 10:30am on Saturday, July 24th. There will be (hopefully) the planting of a tree and plaque and mingling and memory sharing to follow in SASS (great chance to show the kids around!) To attend ONLY this event, the cost is $5 per person.
We will be meeting at Fletchers Park at 1:30 for some family fun. There will be some face painting, munchies etc set up until 4pm. The cost for this event ONLY is $10 per family.
We will be having our dinner at the Club Shuswap, formally known as Shannon's Golf Club. (They offered us better service and better food). I need to let them know by Monday what our approximate count is. You have your choice between a steak or chicken BBQ. The kids get hamburgers! You need to let me know your meal preference (chicken or steak) by Monday (July 19th) Anyone not confirmed by Monday will have burgers. If you chose to go play around of golf you are welcome to (pay for it seperately. There will be different activities throughout the evening to get you mingling. More info will come after we confirm numbers on Monday.
The cost for this event ONLY is:
$30 for grads or guests.
$20 for kids 12-18 years old
$10 for kids 5 - 12 years old
Free for kids 5 and under
On Sunday, July 25th at 11am we will be having an informal beach party at Canoe Beach!!! Come and join us!!!

Some of you have asked about paying at the door...YES you can!!! If you are certain you will come please confirm your meal choice. If you are unsure you can still come (please call me as soon as possible that weekend when you know so they can throw a burger on the grill for you!
Cash is accepted at the door (no prepaying with cash) and everyone will be issued receipts for the activities just to make sure its all recorded.
I hope all this makes sense!!! If you are unsure if you can make it, just pay at the door! Spread the word as there are a lot of people that live in Salmon Arm that haven't confirmed if they are coming yet! Make sure you contact all of your old pals to encourage them to come!!!
