Craig Duff Haslam died February 3, 2015 at his home in Salt Lake City of natural causes. He was the beloved son of Myron Alvin Haslam and Donna Emily Rynearson, born on Flag Day, June 14, 1952, in the old St. Mark's Hospital, Salt Lake.
Craig graduated from Granite High School and the University of Utah with a BS in Accounting/Finance.
He will be greatly missed by his Mother, Donna, Cottonwood Heights, UT; siblings: Gerald M. (Zulaima S.) Haslam, Lindon; Cheryl D. (Allen C.) Johnson, Provo; DeAnn E. Haslam, Murray; Wade A. (Lynette M.) Haslam, Cottonwood Heights; and Wendy E. (Curtis L.) Nygren, Sandy; 22 nieces & nephews; 26 grandnieces and grandnephews.
Craig served honorably in the Taiwan Taipei Mission from 1970-72 and spoke fluent Mandarin Chinese. He worked his way through college as a tax preparer and his profession was accounting. During his life, he served in various callings in the LDS church. Craig was a generous, caring person and was always a peacemaker. He enjoyed photography, computers, and always knew the latest about cars.
Craig struggled with mental health issues in his adult life. Thank you to all who helped him, especially our dear Mother who cared for him many years in her home.
Services will be Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, with a viewing one hour prior. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 So. ("Sweet is the peace the Gospel brings.")
