Obituary Condolences
 
Susan Frazier Beloved Sister, Loyal Friend, Favorite Aunt Susan Frazier, of Bethesda, Maryland, passed away peacefully at her brother-in-law and sister's home in Salt Lake City, Utah on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, from a brain tumor. Born in Provo, Utah October 20, 1951 to Glenn and Helen Rex Frazier, she resided in the Washington D.C. area for the past 20+ years. A 1970 graduate of Granite High School, she received her RN from Brigham Young University and earned a Masters Degree in Public Health Care from Johns Hopkins University. She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1973-75 to the Italy North Mission. Music and the Gospel of Jesus Christ were her greatest passions. At the onset of her illness she was Education Counselor in the Maryland Chevy Chase Ward Relief Society Presidency and Director of the Washington DC Family History Center. In the past she served as Young Women president and counselor, Relief Society president and counselor, ward missionary, nursery leader, choir director, organist, and teacher. She's worked as an ICU nurse at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake and National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Maryland. Most recently she was employed by Genesis Health Care. Traveling extensively, she studied, worked, and taught in Jerusalem, visited the United Kingdom, Europe, India, Egypt, Taiwan, China, Japan, and celebrated her 50th birthday in Italy. She is survived by countless friends, her brother G. Rex (Barbara) Frazier, sister Bessie (Richard) Sanborn, 25 nieces and nephews, including spouses, 25 great nieces and nephews, two aunts and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Funeral services will be held Thurs., November 30, 2006, 11:00 a.m., at the Emigration 21st Ward, 2nd Avenue. and "K" Street in Salt Lake City. Viewing from 10:00 -10:45 a.m. prior to services at the ward. Susan enjoyed serving the less fortunate at a soup kitchen in the "Washington DC area." According to her wishes and following her example, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the needy through a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held in Bethesda, MD. Does anyone know the details around Susan's death?  She was a friend from elementary and I was so SHOCKED to learn she had passed away.

Susan Richardson (Brady)

Susan and I were in the same mission, Italy North.  She was very competent as a specialized nurse.  She actually taught nursing, too.  Very smart!
