Don R. Christensen 1952 ~ 2011 Our loving son, husband, father and friend, Don Raymond Christensen, 59, passed away at the home of his parents, after a courageous battle with cancer with family members by his side.Born March 18, 1952 in Delta, Utah, son of Scott R. and Elenore Deem Christensen. Graduated from Granite High School in 1970, where he was nominated as a Sterling Scholar.

Married Kristin Carlson August 28, 1992 in the Salt Lake Temple. Don served proudly in the US Navy from 1970-1987 earning the rank of Chief Petty Officer.

Survived by his wife, Kristin; sons, Jonathan and Nathan Litson; parents, Scott R. and Elenore Christensen; brother, Dennis (Debbie); sisters: Karen, Sandra Smith and Carla (Bill) Talkington; grandmother, Lucille Deem; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 9th Ward, 2030 West Chateau Ave (5225 S), where a viewing will be held Saturday at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Graveside services will be held Saturday, 3:30 p.m. at the Delta Cemetery, 780 N. 500 East, Delta, Utah.
