Mark D. Eldredge
February 1, 1952 September 21, 2007

Mark D. Eldredge born February 1, 1952 to Doug and Elaine Eldredge in Salt Lake City Utah. Passed away Sept. 21, after a valiant fight with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Mark graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in marketing. Married Sherry Pullen who passed away. Married Rene Oniki in 1988, and was later sealed for time and all eternity in 1996. Had three beautiful children Chase Livingston, Tanner Mark and Haylie Marne. They were his pride and joy and the light of his life. Mark was a fabulous husband and father. His commitments to his family were second to none. He loved watching his children in anything they participated in. He taught them to be honest, hard working and strong.
Mark was interested in everything, could fix anything, and had the answer for everything. He could carry on a conversation with anyone. He was generous, and loved to help people. He packed more into 24 hours than most people do in a week. Mark did it all. He loved to boat, water ski, snow ski, dirt bike, watch all sports, but his passion was golf. He took regular golf trips to his second home in Arizona with family and friends. He was always the perfect host, and many were benefactors of his kindness and love.
Mark started NEWMARK Development in 1990, and won home builder of the year several times. He had a keen sense for business, and was very successful. He loved creating new developments and the resulting satisfaction that came from seeing many clients move into a NEWMARK home.
Mark was an active member of the LDS church. He was loved by the youth, where he dedicated many hours in their behalf. He loved them, and never let being on oxygen stop him from participating in any activity. He never complained and was always up beat. Mark was always the life of the party and will be sorely missed by all.
Thank you Mark, for your wonderful example and the legacy you have left to us all.
We love you!!!
Our deepest gratitude to the Drs and nurses on the MICU floor at the University of Utah Hospital for all their loving and dedicated care.
Survived by Rene, Chase, Tanner, Haylie, Doug, Elaine, DaLayne (sister), Russ (brother), Mel, Camee and Max (nephew and family).

Mark and I were very good friends from grade school on through our years at Granite High.  We shared lockers at Bonneville Jr. high.  Many fond memories of Mark!  Very good sense of humor!    Alma Davis
