Dal R Tuft 66 of Pinedale,Wy. died 8/12/2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will best be remembered for his love of life, his caring personality, and his moustache.
Dal was born 10/27/1951 (but if you asked his mom it was 10/28 because she was awake at 11:59 p.m. And “there’s no way” that she had him in 1 minute). His father Morris and mother Grace (Tiny) raised Dal and his siblings Tom (Michelle), Craig (Kaylene): Tammy and Tracey in Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake. He experienced growing up with a sense of adventure and exploration which helped to shape him into a kind responsible, loving man. (Now days they call that “free range parenting”).
Dal married Sandy (Farmer) on 9/16/1972. They shared many wonderful adventures the best of which was raising Jerry Jeff (Amanda) and Ozzie (Julie).
Alaura Tuft is Dal’s oldest granddaughter and was the light of his life. He did however equally love all of his grandkids-Alaura, Gray, Sophia, Francis, Mable, Henry Hyde, Pearson Paisley, Alexus and Gage. He could almost be seen with his faithful companions Smokey and Stanley Baits.
The endless stream of visitors at 79 BHR over the last weeks and months is a true testament to the kind of person Dal is. Thank you all for your love and kindness. May you R.I.P. my friend.
Cremation has taken place and graveside services and inurnment will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Pinedale Cemetery in Pinedale, Wyoming, followed by a celebration of his life at his home
