Dear Classmates,

I am saddend to announce the passing of another classmate.

1962 ~ 2013
Shirley Anne Birrell Yaranga passed away on February 13, 2013, surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was born on April 2, 1962, along with her twin brother, to Phillip Lamar Birrell and Ila Ione Schildhauer. She married Emiliano Yaranga on June 21, 1986. The marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River temple on September 19, 1987. They had two sons, Anthony Sean and Clayton Emiliano. Shirley was very patriotic and was proud to be an American. She was very involved with scouting and earned her Silver Oxen award. She was an organ donor.
She is survived by her husband and son Clayton, her mother, her brother Richard (Jana) Birrell, and sisters Sharon (John) Wiggins and Ruth (Kurt) Patterson. Preceded in death by her son Anthony, her father, and sister Donna Birrell Hooper.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the South Salt Lake Stake Center, 2280 South 300 East at 1:00 p.m. Friends may visit family prior to the service from 11:00-12:45.

Terry Tai Moore Boyle Martinez

Will be Missed

TERRY Tai Moore Boyle MARTINEZ, who strived all his adult life for acceptance, forgiveness, and respect, went to The Lord on Friday, August, 3, 2012.

He is survived by the people he loved most: his son, Joey Young, his step-daughter, Amy Rowley, his parents, Joseph and Juanita Martinez, his brothers: James Martinez, Kelly Boyle, J. Rudy Martinez, Scott Boyle, Casey Boyle, Dino Martinez, Robert Martinez and by his sister, Lisa Martinez Perea, as well as his six grandchildren.

His suffering on this earth is finished at last; and he is in Heaven with God.

In accordance with his wishes, his final resting place will be in Hillsboro, Oregon, where he was born and was the most happy. There will be no funeral. His family, close friends and pastor will gather at his brother Casey's house for their final farewells.

1961 ~ 2012
Kathy Davidson Westergard passed away at her home on June 26th, 2012. Kathy was born October 27, 1961 in Salt Lake City to parents Robert H. Davidson and Doris C. Hoskins. She attended Granite High School and the University of Utah; married Clint Westergard in 1981 and had her only child, Jamie Lynn on December 30th 1981. Kathy struggled with substance abuse a great deal of her life although she did spend many years trying to help others overcome their addictions. The past eight months were particularly difficult for Kathy as she lost first her father and then mother. Regardless of her struggles Kathy took tender care of her mother the last few months of her life prior to her passing in January.
Survived by her daughter, Jamie Denoveillis, step-mother Tonya Davidson, siblings, Bob Davidson (RaNae), Leigh Anne Hansen (Walt), Frank Riccobono, and Ryan Davidson (Mindi). Two special grandchildren Jordan and Dominick.

Scott Wood

1962 ~ 2012
Scott Wood, 50 passed peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2012 with his family and friends by his side.
Scott was born on March 23, 1962 in "Smog" Lake City, UT. He graduated from Granite High School in 1980. Scott spent his life being an entrepreneur of many sorts, but spent a large amount of time in the window covering and interior design industry. He also served in the Utah Army National Guard.
Scott was a genuine, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who is loved by many. Anyone who has met him knows that he was the life of the party and entertained everyone he encountered. He was always willing to lend a hand and would jump to help whenever it was needed. Scott was a risk taker and was always on the lookout for a new adventure. He enjoyed scuba diving, boating, and spending time with family and friends especially his children and grandchildren.
Scott is Loved and survived by wife Debbie Jo Webster-Wood, Mother Wilma Wood , Children Barry (Tina), April (Randy), Zack (Jessica), Jackie, Julie (Jaret), Michael (Tiffani), Steven (Megan), Grandchildren Ravyn, Emily, Ava, Nya, Ellie, Blazen, Wyatt, +1, Michaella, Monet, Gunnar, Jett, Memphis, Lilly, Cannon, and countless others. Preceded in death by his Father William Wood.
Viewings will be held at Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 S State Street Sandy, UT, on Wednesday May 9th from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 12 p.m. at Lake Hills Mortuary. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to help with funeral expenses. Donations are being accepted at Wells Fargo Bank under The A. Scott Wood Memorial Fund.
