Jesse Green

 Jesse William Green 1982 ~ 2010 On Christmas morning our beautiful son lost his battle to addiction. He fought this demon with all that he had. He was born Feb. 25 1982 to James and JoAnn Green in Salt Lake City. Jesse was a member of the LDS Church and had a strong love and testimony of our savior Jesus Christ. Jesse had a wonderful sense of humor and was always the life of the party. He was a great brother and loved his siblings. He loved children, especially his four nieces: Jada, Oakley, Savanna, and Tristyn. Jesse graduated from Olympus High School class of 2000. He was a very gifted athlete and lettered in soccer and wrestling. Jesse was a great poet and expressed his feelings on paper. Jesse, we know that you are at peace and in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Preceded in death by Grandfather Kenneth Smith, and Uncle Kevin Smith. Survived by parents James and JoAnn Green, sibilings Jeremy (Tennelle), Jacob, Jenna (Cody) Zenger, four nieces, grandparents Elda Smith, Bill and Colleen Green, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Valley View 10th ward house, 2000 E. 3900 S. Both viewings will be held at the church- Wed. evening Dec. 29, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral.
