Francis Blake Leverett died Oct. 22, 2002, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Family visitation will be from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28 at the graveside in Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas. Blake was born Jan. 27, 1962, in San Angelo, Texas. He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1980. Blake was an avid outdoorsman and horseman; he worked professionally in Houston, Texas, for many years in the oil industry. Blake is survived by two children, Kelsey and Kirkland of Abilene, Texas; mother, Billie Williams of Utopia, Texas; father, Bob Leverett and wife, Dorothy, of San Angelo; and brothers, Neville Vann Leverett of Ponte Verda Beach, Fla., and John Scott Leverett of San Angelo. Also surviving, a special aunt, Peg Leverett Smith of Abilene, Texas; and nephews, Sterling and Cody Leverett of San Angelo, as well as Logan and Carolina Leverett of Ponte Verda Beach, Fla. Honorary pallbearers will be childhood friends and work associates.
