This is such sad news. I want thank Diane Guerra for communicating. My memories of Billy are from middle school. Billy was the “It” bad boy at the time and many doted on him. He was friends with everyone. His singing and dancing was a highlight of the Annual Talent show. I think it was probably in 1975 when he drove to my house with his sister and handed me a Christmas present. We were around 13 years old. Some boxed perfume and I kept that name tag from that present for decades in a childhood scrapbook.
I last saw Billy at the 2010 reunion with long hair down to his waist and just gorgeous. He was full of personality and with a heart of gold. People come in and out of our lives for a lifetime and we weren't in touch but he was, as we would say in grade school:
Billy will truly be missed I went to school with him at Krueger middle school school, of course Roosevelt, then some how we met up again at the 433d Alamo Wing and work together for a while. He was a trip. See you soon Billy boy but, not yet, not yet.
