Max Kuentz

After a short stint in college, I started my career in retail, working for Gulf Mart Stores. I got my first store in New Iberia, LA. three years later and stayed close to the retail field my entire career, working in retail, wholesale and finally manufacturing. My wife and I have been in Arlington, TX. since 1979, but we still have relatives in or around SA and love to come visit.

I was a proud member of the baseball team in 1968 and had some great friends on the team. Lee had a very strong winning program in the years prior to 1968 under, then head coach, Tom Jungman. When coach Jungman looked at his prospects for 1968 he quickly quit as head baseball coach at Lee and ran to newly opened Churchill HS to become traffic director......hmmm!
