Bill was killed flying solo in a light plane crash in New Bedford, Massachusetts on Sept 9, 1974. He had been married and was buried in Huntington Beach.
Bill gave me my first ride in an airplane. It was also my first experience with a stalled plane, thanks to his sense of humor. He was fun to be around I'm sorry he is gone.
