Since the fifth grade, Cheryl was a loyal and good friend. We stayed in touch after high school, and were able to see each other when she was living in Berkeley. The last time I heard from her, she was happily living on a small farm near Bodega Bay. I wish her peace.

I really enjoyed Cheryl while in high school and after. Somehow we had a connection even though during high school we moved in different circles. At our 20th we really had a great time and conversation about life and our philosophy's of life. I looked forward to seeing her again. Does anyone know of what transpired to lead to an early passing? I think of her often and wish her family best regards and look forward to seeing her again one day in heaven.

I don't remember much about Cheryl. Only that people would as me if we were related. We were not but she was a very nice person. Far too young to passed on. Sympathy to her family.

I remember Cheryl more from Junior High. We had Mrs. Wilson for our History and English teacher. We were in the 7th grade and were on half day sessions because of El Camino burning down. Cheryl, Jimmie Adams, Ronnie Jackson and I took Mrs. Wilson bowling one afternoon to see how we might improve our history grade. Turned out to be worth our while.

I remember Cheryl (Opal), especially on one beautiful school day, we cut lunch to go to Rosie's on Broadway, you all remember the big plate of refried beans & the tall bottle of RC? Anyway, I remember that Shelly Bickmore, Vickie McDowell, Anne Zuchelli, Cheryl & myself were on our way back to school, at the 4-way stop on Cook St. & Lincoln (staying off Broadway ... very smart), we stopped, and looked across the street and at the opposite stop sign was the principal .... being a bunch of SNEAKY girls, we all ducked .... short story ... we all got BUSTED! GOOD TIMES FOR ALL!!!

OPAL ... WE MISS YOU:)
