In Memory

Harold Testa

I was notified by Paul McDaniel and Terry Stafford that Harold passed February 5, 2019.  His obituary was in the Santa Maria Times.  That is all the information I have to date.

Harold Testa, one of the Central Coast original and still committed hippies passed away after a battle with cancer at Marian Residence on Tuesday, February 5th.

Born on June 20, 1950 (cusp of Gemini and Cancer) to Sonny and Sally Testa in Santa Maria. He was an eight-generation Californian. Harold left an indelible mark on so many. He was intelligent, fun seeking, stubborn, and sometimes a bit entitled. He'd been retired for more than twenty-five years, and while his health was somewhat compromised, he enjoyed many days of sunshine, family, the Grateful Dead, Dylan, ESPN, and, of course, some weed. His great passions in life were music, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Sonny and his son Mickie. He is survived by his mother Sally; sisters Angela (Jon) Freitas and Treacy (Paride) Casciani; his brothers Martin (Debi) Testa; Tony Testa; and, Alec (Corinna) Testa; his aunts; a plethora of cousins; a multitude of nieces and nephews; and a bunch of grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please be kind and consider a contribution to The Mickey Testa Memorial Scholarship Fund, Cuesta College Foundation, P. O. Box 8106, San Luis Obispo, CA 93403-8106.
