Bobby is and was my best friend and husband for over 40 years. He died in bed with me holding hands. He always held me when we slept. I am so lost without him. He always got on this site to see if there was news about Ed Adams and others he knew. He was in the class of 1968 Santa Maria High School. He preached for some time. He was a father of four boys, grandfather to 12 grand children and 2 great grandchildren. He wanted so badly to attend the next reunion. I promised him we would. He played guitar, bass guitar, sung, and also accordion. He loved his family so deeply and yet never could seem to show it in the ways he so deeply wanted to. They knew though. He is and always will be my soul mate. I will keep his yearbook and visit all of your pictures at times. He cried when he found out Ed Adams died. He lost his mother a few years ago and was not well himself. He told me last week honey I hurt so bad but don't want to complain. That is the way he was. He is survived by myself, Duke our dog, T our cockatiel, 4 wonderful sons, 12 grand children and 2 great grand children. His father Roy Wilkerson and his two brothers Gary Wayne and Darrell Eugene and his sister Patricia Lynn are still alive. Thank you all for being a part of my love's life, I am at LadyofUTA@aol.com or BEW2450@gmail.com

I went all through High School with Bobby in at least 2 of my classes each year. Bobbyalways was a lot of fun to be around, sometimes he would say something that would just cause me to bust out laughing (got me into trouble more than once). It's sad to have people who you have shared so many good times with pass away. But I am sure that his legacy will live on through his family. Vaya con Dios, mi compadre.

My heart is filled with sorrow in hearing of the passing of my friend and classmate Bobby. I remember him as always having a smile on his face and a joke or something witty to tell us. We kidded him about his accent and he always took it in stride. I knew a serious side to him too. We could talk about anything and everything but he worried about the World in the 60's. It was a pleasure knowing you Bobby. We had some good times. Rest in peace my friend. My sincere condolences to your wife and family.
