A benefit program which will be held For our fellow classmates Shelia Edwards-Wilson. As you all know Shelia has suffered a stroke and is now trying to get her disability insurance started, but you know how that process goes-- long and dragged out. Anyway the Love Program will be held at Hunter's Chapel in Como on April 14 at 7:00. I know some of us wont be able to attend but for those who want to help a sister out she will be glad for any assistance. Her address is 240 Atkins Street Sardis, MS 38666. Show some LOVE. We never know when we might be in a similar situation. Any assistance will be greatly appreciate.

"Back To Our Roots" Class of 81 as you know our Class Reunion is fast approaching. May 2011 will be our 30th year and we are going "Back To Our Roots." So in saying that, Friday, September 2, 2011 Meet and Greet at the Sardis Steak and Fish Sardis, MS time 7pm. The Banquet will be Saturday, September 3, 2011 8pm at the Premiere Palace, Memphis, TN . Sunday, September 4, 2011, Church with Howard Birge, at Cistern Hill Church 11am., after service a cookout at Mack and Renee Taylor Home. Class dues, are a $150 per class member.June 4, 200 we need to have at least half of your dues. so we will have accountability of who will be attending, August 6, 2011 will be the deadline for all dues. Dues can be sent to committee members or to the Renasant bank call a memeber for banking information. There will be a benefit for Linda Brown on Saturday, April 18th at Liberty Hill CME church from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Liberty Hill is about 8 miles east of Como on HWY 315. We are asking everyone to bring nonperishable items. Remember, Linda also has a 12 year old daughter. If you are unable to attend and wish to make a donation, send your check/money order to Shelia (Edwards) Wilson at 240 Atkins Street, Sardis MS,38666.

Classmates just wanted to let you know that Linda Brown, is once again going thru chemothrapy. Keep her in your prayers and if you have her telephone number give her a call and offer your encouragements.

One of our dear friend and classmate Leroy Kelson has been diagnose with cancer. There will be benefit on Saturday, July 25th 6:00 p.m. at Spring Hills M.B. Church in Crenshaw MS to raise funds to cover his medical expenses. If you are unable to attend and would like to make a donation, contact Debra Banger at 662-519-4072
