In Memory

Linda Pavia

Linda Pavia passed away peacefully on October 7, 2023 in San Francisco, Ca. after a brief illness.  She was 74 years old.

Born June 10, 1949 in Schenectady, NY, Linda graduated for Linton HS in 1967, and SUBY New Paltz in 1973.  She move to San Francisco in 1976 where she was a financial advisor at RBC, retiring in 2009. While working she was an active member of the San Francisco Rotary.

Linda will be remembered for her warm, fun-loving personality.  She had a passion for life. She loved children, music, travel, and was a devoted fan of the 49ers,  Her exhuberance for the San Francisco 49ers was unmatched, she very rarely missed a game, even when they had a losing season.

Notice for a celebration of life will be posted at a later date

I am so very sorry to hear of Linda's passing.  Our fathers were childhood friends and introduced us.  We had many fun times at dances and events and spending time together.  Linda had a great sense of humor, was fun, and as in her photo, always, with a beautiful smile..  My sympathy to her family and friends.

I was saddened to learn that the world has lost Libda Pavia too soon. I knew her from our years together at Zoller Elementary School, through Oneida Jr. High, and of course at Linton. I remember her as a friendly, funny, warm, zany, and enthusiastic person, and can still visualize her house that I passed on my way to and from Zoller. We used to laugh together at silly jokes, poke fun at substitute teachers (behing their backs, of course), and make up imaginary games to play at recess and gym times. Ahh, youth. My sincerest condolences to her friends, colleagues, and family members. May her memory be a blessing.
