William Marcotte

My wife Beth and I married in Jan. 1987. We are raising 5 wonderful children. Two are working on their MA / PsyD in Washington DC. Over the years I have been primarily dedicated to the work of youth ministry. I was a youth minister at our parish in Tempe; Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for seven years. Then founded a non-profit organization called Youth Arise which is dedicated to forming young adults to have a missionary consciousness - then sending them on short and long term missions throughout the world. After working for the Catholic Diocese of Phx. for five years in the training of youth leaders, I now am working for Living Water Retreat Center in Cornville, AZ. It is a Christian retreat center where individuals & Church Groups can encounter the Living Jesus Christ and leave refreshed by the Holy Spirit. It is a great work of God and my family and I are very happy to be a part of this. My office and home are in Tempe, AZ.

Great memories of High School. Too many to recall here. Generally speaking - I enjoyed my time as a swimmer and being involved for three years in our yearly Extravaganza. Preparing for those Extravaganzas were among my best memories and is how I really came to know many in my class. Mrs. Rose Nack - by far was my favorite teacher. She took - believe it or not, a very shy student (that's me) and began to give me the confidence and tools to speak publically. Today- that is 95% of what I do. Matt Reaves (class of 78) was my very best friend in high school. Gents! - What a crazy club! Loved it my Junior year. My Sr. year I did not participate as I worked hard to get a college swimming scholarship.
