Randal  "Rande" Bell   Obituary

Randal "Rande" Reid Bell, passed away on August 15, 2013 following a brief stay in the hospital. He was born on October 11, 1951 in Fresno, California. Under the performing name of "Raande" he began his music career as lead guitarist and backup vocal for "Anti-Smog Protest Movement" in 1968. Rande graduated from Scottsdale High School and attended Arizona State University, but continued to concentrate on his musical career as lead guitarist for "Gabriel" (Linda Carter was lead vocal). He moved to Las Vegas in 1974 and played as a solo act at many nightclubs. He was later invited to join "Gary English and Company" where he played lead guitar, vocals, keyboard and several other instruments. Rande was preceded in death by his father, Charles R. Bell, and survived by his mother Janice Bell, sister Lauren Bruns, brothers Gregory (Joan) Bell and Jeffrey (Pam) Bell, plus numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Rande's musical talent continued until the end, and he is likely performing in Heaven. Private services will be held in the future in the Memorial Garden at Valley Presbyterian Church.
