I am very sad to hear that Walter has passed away. I remember meeting Walter when we first moved to Scottsdale and started going to The Boys Club around 1959. After Kiva, I was happy and suprised to have him in some of my classes at Saguaro. I have thought about him from time to time all through my life. My condolences to Bill and the rest of his familly.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Walter. I went to Navajo Elementary with Bill & Walter for many years. Walter definitely had a unique sense of humor. his Braille typewriter was the 1st instance of encountering Technology for me. He never complained, he just made the best of the situation.

I remember Walter's sense of humor, too.  Seems we were seated near each other a few times throughout high school.  I always wanted to be able to communicate with him better than I could.  Hey, Walter ~  I trust you're enjoying the next life....  And condolences to Bill and the family.
