I was so surprised to hear about Scott Olsen. I remembered him from swirl and maybe even Kiva. It is with a heavy heart that I do look at the list of people that we have lost. To me it seems like we have lost too many! As I looked at the list and I think the group from putting it up I just reflected on each person's name so my new very well and so my new just were in a class I had it didn't matter they still were our class of 1970 the first class and entered in 1967 it's a Saquaro high school! My thoughts go to Scott and his family and everyone that has passed Brenda Chadwick Burke
Scott was on the same bus route, for like 10 years. We sang along to 60s songs, on the bus. We went to Kiva grade school, in Northern Scottsdale, and then on to Saguaro. I was quiet because of brain concussions in Little League. He was genuinely fun, and also genuinely kind. We went to college together, at NAU. He rebuilt a motorcycle in his dorm room and drove it INSIDE the dorm. We both worked with disadvantaged kids. He died about 10 years ago. It happened on the same hiking trail in Flagstaff, that he and I had walked on, in college. There are worse ways to go.
